The Southeast Texas Impact Initiative had a great presentation at the Golden Triangle Sierra Club, where they talked about their mission and projects for fostering positive change in Southeast Texas through civic engagement and community action.

A toxic flare was spotted dotting the Jefferson County skyline - with reports coming in from nearby communities who live right next to this flare as well as people driving through Beaumont. Local KFDM News was the only source who reported on it and the perpetrator was none other than ExxonMobil Beaumont (classic).

We got the chance to meet all of the other amazing organizations at the BRIDGE Collective April 2025 retreat in Houston, TX. Our previous cohort was mostly Environmental Justice organizations based on the Gulf Coast, so it was really nice to get to meet people from all over Texas doing incredible things in their communities.
