We are so excited to announce the launch of our Climate Justice Texas zine! It features a variety of stories from photographers, birders, birder-photographers, poets, activists, advocates, and civics organizations and can be accessed at the link here or by clicking the image below.

We hope that you enjoy reading it as much as we do, and we hope that it brings you some optimism for how we can all work together to start the climate conversation in East Texas and beyond.

About Climate Justice Texas

Founded by passionate young women of color, CJT empowers youth to explore environmental challenges, build local knowledge, and lead community efforts for a greener, more equitable future in Southeast Texas.

We’re “keeping the climate cool” across East Texas, celebrating our regional landscape through community stories, arts-centered civic engagement, and stewardship of the land we cherish. Our work is grounded in cultural expression and local narratives that resonate with our community's identity.
